3,017 licensed Florida homes - updated 2026-08-15
Every licensed care home in Florida.Including the ones nobody shows you.
Referral sites only list the homes that pay them. This is the complete state record: bed counts, license status, Medicaid acceptance, and the inspection findings the state actually wrote down.
What you get here that you don't get elsewhere
Three things the big referral sites structurally cannot show you.
The whole list
All 3,017 licensed homes appear, paying or not. Small family-run homes are usually invisible online.
The inspection record
2,499 homes have findings on file. We show them by severity class, next to the ones with a clean record.
Who takes Medicaid
Only 410 homes statewide hold the assisted living waiver. Everyone tells you to call and ask. We just list them.
Why free directories are not free. National referral services are paid by the facility when you move in, often the resident's entire first month of rent and care. Homes that will not pay that fee do not get shown to you. This site takes no placement fees, so the list is the actual list.
